HB377 strengthens parental rights by ensuring that parents have full access to their child's healthcare information and can provide or deny consent for medical procedures, mental health evaluations, and treatments. The bill removes the exclusive right of a minor to enforce privacy protections under certain healthcare laws, allowing parents to be informed about and involved in their child's medical care
